This course provides practical hands on training and includes

• An overview of duties under the Health & Safety at Work Act when working at height and climbing silo ladders
• Identifying appropriate fall arrest systems and appropriate controls
• Practical achievement-based training, fitting and using a safety harness and vertical Fall Arrest System to climb a silo ladder.

Courses will be run by Chris Cox, Senior Training Instructor at NZ Safety Blackwoods Worksafe Training and a specialist in Height Safety and Confined Space Entry.

Course is available on 12 or 13 September 2017 from 9am - 3.30pm at the Ruralco Farm Supplies Store in Ashburton and costs $295+GST.
